PSA International PASS Centre:
A Functional Hub for 24/7 Operations

PSA International – PASS Centre

Client: PSA International
Location: Keppel Complex and Tanjong Pagar Complex
Floor size: 200,000 sqft

Introduction

With operations spanning continents and major ports, PSA International depends on the daily dedication of its workforce to keep goods and economies moving. MGroup was commissioned to design two major facilities — the Keppel Workshop and the Tanjong Pagar Complex — to serve as essential hubs for 400 to 500 port workers who pass through the buildings 24/7. The result is a design that prioritises durability, clarity, and ease of maintenance, while maintaining a modern and welcoming aesthetic.

Built for Endurance

Each facility spans multiple floors, housing offices, meeting rooms, training spaces, auditoriums, and collaboration areas. The design was guided by a clear understanding of the port environment — where heavy-duty footwear, oil and grime are part of daily life. To manage this, all flooring was finished in robust vinyl instead of carpet, chosen for its durability and easy maintenance. The planning also carefully considered the flow of human traffic, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency across the 24/7 operations.

Our approach for the PASS Centre was to create a space that works as hard as the people who use it. Every detail — from circulation flow to material selection — was guided by performance, comfort, and longevity.

Practical with Character

Despite its functionality, the interiors retain visual energy. PSA’s corporate colours — blue and red, accented with touches of green — are expressed through striped patterns and geometric motifs that bring movement and identity to the space. The result is a clean, contemporary, and hardworking environment that reflects the spirit of the people who keep PSA’s global network in motion.
