Evolution of Elegance:
Maybank Tower’s Banking Hall & Premier Banking Lounge
Introduction
With commanding views of the Singapore River and Fullerton Hotel, Maybank Tower’s banking spaces at Level 3 reflect a shift towards a customer-centric experience. The interior design evolves from a traditional, transactional setting to one that emphasises comfort, hospitality, and the Maybank brand at its core.
Classic Features
Guests arrive via an escalator from the Grand Lobby into a spacious waiting area, defined by a striking 65-metre ceiling. Natural light floods the area, offering views of the Fullerton Hotel, which contrasts beautifully with the modern interior design. The centrepiece is a moss feature wall that incorporates an 86-inch TV and digital queue system, while modular furniture allows the space to transform for events. A tiger-stripe ebony veneer wall, inspired by the Maybank logo, adds a unique visual element with its “M” shape and diamond silhouette. Manager cubicles, enclosed by low wooden partitions and gold-dust laminated glass, provide both privacy and a sense of openness, reinforcing Maybank’s brand identity.
“With the gold accents and unique timber details, we’ve designed a smooth transition between the two distinct spaces, reflecting Maybank’s premium experience while maintaining practical elegance
Exclusivity Redefined
The Premier Banking Lounge, adjacent to the main hall, offers a more intimate and luxurious experience with panoramic views of the Singapore River. It features a marble-topped minibar, timber and gold cladding, and a moss feature wall, which ties into the design elements of the main hall. A central pillar, clad in wood veneer and moss, serves as a sculptural focal point, enhanced by suspended lighting. The lounge also features an acoustic ceiling in Maybank’s signature gold tones, engineered for superior sound absorption. This ensures a private, serene environment where premier clients can enjoy both exclusivity and comfort in a sophisticated, high-end banking experience.
