CIMB Singapore’s relocation to 30 Raffles Place marks a bold step toward redefining modern banking. At the heart of this transformation is the multi-award-winning CIMB Bank Express digital kiosk, a cutting-edge feature designed to bridge the gap between traditional banking and the digital era.

Digital Evolution

Positioned at the Ground Floor entrance of CIMB Plaza, this high-tech kiosk serves as a seamless bridge between traditional banking and digital innovation, offering an interactive experience tailored to modern customers. One of its standout features is the striking curved digital media wall, displaying vibrant visuals, real-time financial updates, and CIMB’s latest offerings. A 3D virtual teller provides multilingual assistance, offering personalised guidance and helping customers navigate banking services with ease. Interactive tabletop screens allow users to explore self-service banking, apply for accounts, and discover financial products at their own pace.

Dynamic Engagement

Designed to captivate and engage, the interactive kiosk also includes a gamified experience—motion-activated challenges where visitors can win redeemable rewards. This playful yet strategic feature enhances customer interaction and draws attention, particularly among younger audiences. Beyond functionality, the kiosk’s sleek, futuristic design unites technology with aesthetics. Dynamic RGB lighting cycles through CIMB’s signature colours, creating an immersive, modern ambience. Marble tile patterns reference the plaza’s classical architecture, while a minimalist black-and-metallic palette adds sophistication. Strategically placed plants soften acoustics and introduce a biophilic touch.

Without your keen attention to detail and the hardworking presence of your team members, this project would not have met the tight deadlines set out.

As a good example, the weekly project meetings helped to ensure that the whole list of members involved, ranging from the consultants, main contractor, vendors, our internal project team and the business unit representatives, worked as a team to complete the project successfully. This was no small achievement, considering the challenges we faced, operating in a Covid-19 environment, with labour and materials constraints as well as shipping delays, which rendered our task a difficult one. We are very pleased with the final outcome, attested to by our staff’s expression of delight of the new workplace environment and thank you for a job well done.
