CIMB Front of House:
Setting a New Standard for Dynamic Meeting Environments
Introduction
The multi-award-winning CIMB Front of House (FOH) Meeting Zone on Level 4 redefines corporate meeting spaces, blending modern sophistication with strategic purpose. Located adjacent to the CIMB Marketplace, the space overlooks Raffles Place MRT and Singapore’s financial district, creating an inspiring and impressive setting.
Stylish Welcome
Connecting seamlessly to the adjacent Marketplace, the FOH serves as a "touchdown area" where guests are welcomed into waiting lounges before transitioning to private meeting rooms. Designed exclusively for meetings of all sizes, the FOH includes a main boardroom, numerous mid-sized and small meeting rooms, a central waiting lounge, as well as several seating areas. Featuring a sleek, contemporary palette, the entire space is dominated by an all-white aesthetic, complemented by wood and bold-coloured accents.
The Right Curves
Throughout the space, curved walls create a fluid, spacious feel. In addition, a striking white feature wall with 3D effects in the waiting lounge serves as a focal point, incorporating a dynamic zig-zag pattern with moss panel inserts inspired by the CIMB logo. Another feature wall leads guests toward a seating zone connected to the Marketplace, with a custom marble design and a bold red rug reflecting CIMB’s corporate identity.
Perfect Views
A third waiting lounge offers panoramic city views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Next to it, the main boardroom exudes a hotel-like ambience, with a custom marble table, concealed cable management, and adaptable mid-sized meeting rooms that merge when needed. Meanwhile, small meeting rooms are equipped with video conferencing and gold carpeting reflecting CIMB branding.
“"We wish to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to your company for undertaking and coordinating the successful completion of our new office premises at 30 Raffles Place. You have acted as a project manager to help ensure that the design and build elements of the project blended well together. Without your keen attention to detail and the hardworking presence of your team members, this project would not have met the tight deadlines set out.
As a good example, the weekly project meetings helped to ensure that the whole list of members involved, ranging from the consultants, main contractor, vendors, our internal project team and the business unit representatives, worked as a team to complete the project successfully. This was no small achievement, considering the challenges we faced, operating in a Covid-19 environment, with labour and materials constraints as well as shipping delays, which rendered our task a difficult one. We are very pleased with the final outcome, attested to by our staff’s expression of delight of the new workplace environment and thank you for a job well done."
