Introduction

For the Asia-Pacific headquarters of this aerospace technology firm in Singapore, MGroup conceptualised a workspace that reflects the company’s technological prowess and growing presence in the aviation sector. The design seamlessly integrates innovation with modern aesthetics, resulting in a refined environment that subtly mirrors the sleek interiors of an aircraft.

White and Light

A crisp white palette sets the tone, while sphere-shaped meeting rooms with curved wall panels enhance the futuristic concept. Strategic lighting design adds depth, making the space dynamic yet cohesive. The meeting rooms, positioned around the front-of-house area, are easily accessible from the reception and waiting lounge. Within the curved panels, display niches showcase the company’s branding, while bold-coloured upholstered seating brings warmth and vibrancy to the lounge.

Lighting serves as a unifying element, visually connecting different spaces. In the meeting rooms, coffer lighting on the ceiling mirrors neural pathways, symbolising connectivity—one of the company’s core values. Flowing LED strips link the rooms, subtly changing colours to reflect movement and enhance spatial interaction.

The end result of MGroup’s work has clearly given us a modern, dynamic, comfortable, and efficient work environment which begins at the reception area. Our workspace has also become a conversation piece with visitors. The entire office layout strongly reflects the nature of our business: connecting people from one place to another.

The Right Curves

To maintain design consistency, curved acoustic panels line the meeting room walls, echoing the curvature of the reception area. Thick black floor lines mirror the ceiling’s lighting strips and glass panels feature light blue motifs to reinforce the futuristic theme. The boardroom’s large conference table establishes a sense of formality, while the adjacent discussion room, with its monochrome furnishings and circular lighting feature, offers a sleek, modern contrast.

Across the main work area, modern workstations are arranged for optimal efficiency. A neutral colour palette is enlivened with bold details—red partitions contrast with wooden surfaces, while geometric-patterned white cabinets add a creative touch. This well-planned, forward-thinking workspace seamlessly blends innovation, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
