Located amid Singapore’s busy financial district, the OCBC Securities Investors Hub showcases an impressive interior that draws inspiration from trading concepts, effectively reflecting the company’s line of business.
Tech Trends
From the external facade, the hub’s full-glass frontage offers clear visibility of its dynamic and technologically advanced environment within. Inside, MGroup has given the space a dynamic concept that blends technology and pragmatic details, offering customers a seamless and user-friendly environment to engage in various trading services.
To ensure convenience and accessibility, the entrance foyer welcomes customers with a self-service kiosk and a reception counter, streamlining the reception process while minimising wait times. In the centre, the counter stands out with its distinctive oval shape and a red ring encircling a large pillar housing an information screen.
Shaping Spaces
The ceiling design ingeniously captures the essence of trading, symbolising both upturns and downturns. To elevate a sense of spaciousness, the design team raised the ceiling height from 3 to 4.5 metres. Irregular triangles with varying heights, strategically positioned to represent upward and downward investment trends, further enhance the extended ceiling space. These triangles harmoniously merge with the luminous Barrisol ceiling, producing a modern lighting effect that complements the hub’s contemporary aesthetic.
“A myriad of innovative elements defines the sophisticated interior of the Securities Investors Hub. For example, the nature of trading comes with its ups and downs, and we wanted to reflect that in the design. We brought this concept to life through the ceiling, using distinct design approaches.
MGroup has incorporated circular semi-open cubicles made of curved double-layer glass with embedded LED lighting to enliven the contemporary theme. The frosted finish on the sleek surfaces of these cubicles showcases the trading market platforms of different countries, amplifying the hub’s modern ambience.
