HUAWEI Asia Pacific Demo Centre Showcases Innovation in Action
Introduction
MGroup has partnered with HUAWEI on numerous projects over the years, supporting the brand’s growth in Singapore. Among these, one of the most significant projects is the 24,000-square-foot HUAWEI Asia Pacific Demo Centre, a landmark space for live demonstrations and client engagement. Alongside this, MGroup also designed one of Huawei’s main offices, totalling to over 50,000 square feet for both projects.
An Immersive Experience
Visitors are greeted by a digital media wall and an entrance display that immediately communicates HUAWEI’s branding and technological spirit. Throughout the space, distinct demo zones highlight the company’s range of solutions — from consumer devices to large-scale surveillance systems — all visually linked by programmable LED lighting that shifts in colour to animate the journey. A highlight is a full-sized car on display, demonstrating HUAWEI’s intelligent camera systems, including those used in Singapore’s highway surveillance.
The Heart of the Centre
At the core of the project is a custom-designed server room: the “brains” of the Demo Centre. Engineered with precise humidity control, battery backup, and FM200 gas-based fire suppression, it houses 30 server racks in a controlled environment. Its glass enclosure makes this highly technical space visible, transforming what is usually hidden into a striking showcase of HUAWEI’s infrastructure capabilities.

Future-Ready Design
Practical considerations support the cutting-edge displays, with hard flooring, clean ceiling lines, and integrated lighting ensuring ease of maintenance and a professional finish. Beyond its impressive technological features, the Demo Centre doubles as a collaborative hub with meeting zones for presentations and client discussions, reinforcing HUAWEI’s role as a partner in driving digital transformation across industries.
“Key to the success of this project was the ability of Alexis to interpret our vision of a contemporary demo area that was conducive to collaboration, showcased our product and provided a vibrant atmosphere to our customers, as well as presenting an image representative of the company’s philosophy and goals.
