Dumex’s Office Envisioned with Nature in Mind
Introduction
Rooted in natural materials and thoughtful details, MGroup created a warm and functional workplace for Dumex, a specialist in child nutrition. The design reflects the brand’s nurturing ethos while supporting the work needs of its team.
Close to Nature
From the outset, the office was conceived as a space connected to the natural world. Wood veneers and Danish furniture bring warmth and tactility, while potted plants and carefully placed orchids line pathways, softening the interiors with a subtle biophilic touch. A fountain in the reception, designed in line with feng shui principles, adds a sense of calm and welcome.
Light and Identity
Screens of satin sandblasted glass envelope the office, filtering daylight to create a soothing atmosphere while ensuring privacy. The Dumex logo is etched within these glass panels, reinforcing the brand identity in a refined, understated way. Timber frames paired with jacketed glass introduce a distinctly Asian sensibility, balancing openness with enclosure across different work zones.

Balance of Form and Function
The workspace also combines comfort with practicality. Imported Danish workstations are arranged to encourage collaboration, while orchids act as natural divider screens, adding a light Japanese influence to the environment.

MGroup’s collaboration with Dumex stretches back to 1999, accompanying the company through its evolution under the East Asiatic Company, then NUMICO, and now Danone and Dumex.
