The sports media giant wanted to renovate and expand its premise all while carrying on its 24/7 broadcasting operations inside. We won them over with a well thought-out human migration plan and an interior design that truly showcased the company’s sporting flair. Visitors are greeted by a reception area that offers an immersive media environment. An electronic news ticker wrapped around a commentator’s box broadcasts the latest sports news while a 16-channel configurable media wall displays ESPN STAR Sports’ many programmes. These all sit on a basketball court that we designed to not just look, but sound, like an actual one when played on. The sports theme continues inside the office with meeting rooms decked out with gear from golf, cricket and Formula One. The entire project was completed in six phases over eighteen months as the different departments were shifted around in clockwork fashion—with no major disruptions, on time, and all within budget.
